Please come and join us for our 10th annual California Cup Invitational Tournament (a Western USA Team Handball League and USATH Sanctioned tournament) on January 29th, 30th and 31st 2016. As every year men teams from the US, Canada, Mexico and Japan compete in a highly competitive manner.
We also would like to invite women teams that are interest in competing. We will also feature, again, games between our junior high school kids from the Centerville Junior Hight School.
Location: Centerville Junior High School Gym, 37772 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94536.
Airports: Fremont is easily reachable from all 3 major Bay Area airports in Oakland (OAK), San Jose (SJC) and San Francisco (SFO).
Hotels: we have negotiated a block of rooms at a discounted rate of $94 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Newark, CA (3.5 miles from the venue).
Date: January 29th, 30th and 31st 2016.
Format: Round robin in group stages and then playoffs and placement.
Registration Deadline: January 15th 2016 (Initial Interest or Consent ASAP, please).
Deposit: $100 non-refundable deposit at time of registration.
The tournament has limited capacity, registration submitted past the deadline will be only considered on a case-by-case basis, and charged an additional $25 processing fee.
Participation fee: $300 for each team.
Bond: $250 as Performance & Sportsmanship bond that each team must post to be kept in escrow and returned back at the conclusion of the tournament if none of the tournament rules were violated.

Men: SF Calheat, Chicago Inter HB, Vancouver HB (Canada), Seattle HB, Portland THB, Los Angeles THB and Kagura (Japan).
Women: SF Calheat, Vancouver HB, Los Angeles THB, Chicago Inter HB and West Point THB.
