It’s that time of the year again! Our men’s team will be competing this weekend at the 7th annual Valley of the Sun tournament in Phoenix, AZ.<\/p>\n
Historically, our team has always performed well in Arizona. In the last two years, our first team won the tournament undefeated and will try to lift the trophy for a third time in a row. However, the competition will be fierce with our state rivals Los Angeles THC, Air Force and a younger than usual team from Alberta. Phoenix will try to be a serious contender on their home court. Given multiple absences, the team is composed of players of our two teams.<\/p>\n
The team has been drawn in pool A with Alberta Youth and US Air Force II with round robin games scheduled on Saturday. In the event our team finishes first in the group, they will be directly qualified for the semifinals on Sunday, otherwise they will have to play a crossover with teams from pool B composed of US Air Force I, Los Angeles and Phoenix.<\/p>\n
