International Youth Tournament

For the first time ever, SF CalHeat will be hosting the Golden Gate Cup: an International Youth Tournament for girls and boys teams in the U14, U16 and U18 age categories.

The tournament will be held at the Centerville Jr. High School in Fremont, California on late August, 2025.

The ages for each category in this year’s edition are as follows:
U18 Girls and Boys: Athletes born on the years 2007 & 2008
U16 Girls and Boys: Athletes born on the years 2009 & 2010
U14 Girls and Boys: Athletes born on the years 2011 & 2012

The tournament format will replicate what many summer tournaments use of 2×15 minutes  games. The groups and seeding formats will be defined once the list of participating teams is set. We will follow the IHF Rules of the game.

Entry Fee per team: $300
